This Privacy Policy explains how we collects, uses, and protects information when you use Licobox. This Privacy Policy is subject to and should be read together with the applicable Terms of Service.
Information We Collect
Section titled “Information We Collect”Licobox is designed to minimize data collection and respect user privacy.
Anonymous Usage Analytics
Section titled “Anonymous Usage Analytics”Licobox collects limited anonymous analytics data to help improve performance, reliability, and user experience. This data:
- Is collected solely for understanding Licobox usage and improving the product
- Does not contain personally identifiable information (PII)
- Installation Id is randomly generated
The anonymous analytics data is used for:
- Measuring feature usage
- Improving stability and usability
- Understanding general product adoption
Opt-Out Option
Section titled “Opt-Out Option”To opt out in the app, go to Settings > About and turn off Anonymous Telemetry.
You can also disable anonymous analytics collection from the command line.
Run licobox config set anonymous_analytics false.
When anonymous analytics collection is disabled, we will not collect or transmit anonymous analytics data.
Third-Party Services
Section titled “Third-Party Services”Licobox may use third-party services to process or store anonymous analytics data. These providers are required to maintain appropriate security and confidentiality standards.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
Section titled “Changes to This Privacy Policy”This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be reflected by revising the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of Licobox after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
